Accessibility Statement

Aspire Performance & Nutrition is used by coaches, athletic directors, families, and high school athletes. It should work for all of them.

Conformance target

We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Our current status is partially conformant: most of the site meets that bar, and the specific gaps we know about are listed below. We have not commissioned an independent third-party audit, and we do not publish a VPAT. We would rather say that plainly than claim a conformance level we have not had verified.

What we do today

• Semantic HTML with real headings, lists, labels, and landmarks rather than styled div elements.
• Every interactive control is reachable and operable with a keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
• Form fields have programmatic labels, and error messages are announced rather than shown only by colour.
• Body text and interface text are sized in relative units and reflow without horizontal scrolling down to a 320px viewport.
• Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
• Motion is limited to short fades and expands. There is no autoplaying video, no parallax, and no flashing content.
• Printable handouts are ordinary HTML pages, so they can be read with a screen reader before they are printed.

This list is not a guarantee that nothing else is wrong. If you hit a barrier that is not listed, tell us and we will add it here.

Email luke@aspireperformancerd.com with the page address and what went wrong. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within one business day and to give you a repair timeline, or an alternative way to get the same content, within five business days.
